Overall Personality/Appearance: Randy is a difficult person to understand. He doesn't let his emotions show, so it's hard to read him most of the time, but that's the way he likes it. He doesn't let anyone close enough to start figuring him out. He has a wall that he's been building up over the years to keep everyone out, and he refuses to let anyone break that down. Feelings are something that he views as a weakness. Love is something that he refuses to believe in, and for good reason. He doesn't want anyone to care about him so why does he have the right to care about anyone else? The people who have met him typically believe him to be cold-hearted and uncaring, and Randy honestly doesn't care what other people think about him. He also tends to hide behind his humor, he is very sarcastic, figuring if he never acts serious no one will think he has anything to hide.
Randy takes his job very seriously because it's not only a job to him, it's his life. He won't settle down because he has to be on the move for the job. He has basically been a drifter since the first day he left home to hunt full-time. He's on the run as well, although he'll never tell that to anyone. Randy murdered someone, and though he feels justified in doing it to protect his mother, he knows that not everyone would see it the same way. He doesn't talk about anything that has happened to him or anything that is bothering him. In his opinion, it's a waste of time and he doesn't need anyone feeling sorry for him. Doesn't mean that he won't listen if someone needs to talk to him, though there's no guarantee that he'll be compassionate when he does. He's like a rock, unyielding and unflinching, and because he doesn't want to feel, thinking that it's easier that way. There's a part of him that wants to be nicer, and that wants to care, but he's honestly terrified of feeling anything at all really. He's a complicated individual, but he's loyal to those that earn his trust.

Overall History: Fiona Miller lived a life that was reckless and wild, and she paid for that when she turned twenty-two. In a night that she can barely remember, but at the end of it she became pregnant with her first child. She didn't know she was pregnant until three months in, and initially Fiona wanted to give him up for adoption, because it would be the easy way out. Then she could continue partying without regrets. However, once Randy was born, something wouldn't allow her to let him go. So she settled down and tried to straighten up, worked as a waitress and caring for him to the best of her ability, but she still remained disconnected from her son because she honestly didn't want him and blamed him for ruining her life. She was young and in her prime when she got pregnant, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that she was bitter.
Soon enough though, Fiona found someone who would watch Randy for longer amounts of time and for a cheap price. She started getting wild again, and she paid the price for it. Fiona spent two years behaving recklessly, and she ended up pregnant again. This little girl was something that turned her around. She loved Sarah more than she ever loved Randy, simply because he was the reason that her life had started spiraling downwards. Sarah was everything that Fiona had ever wanted. She started coming home at a decent hour to care for her little girl, while for the most part completely ignoring Randy. He was six at this time and knew what was happening. His mother didn't want him. And that was when he started to stop caring because it was easier. Then he wouldn't get himself hurt. No one would ever see that he was suffering.
When Randy started school, he never came home afterwards if he could help it, avoiding home and ignoring his mother since she ignored him. It infuriated his mother because she saw it as a sign of disrespect, but he didn't care. When he was ten, he met his most favorite teacher of all time. And this was the man that saw something i Randy, a little bit of what he had been at that age and he started to teach him about the supernatural. Randy didn't believe him at first, until he started going over to his teacher's house and looking at the expansive library and research the man had. His name was Peter Brown, and he had been a hunter in his previous years. Randy looked up to him as a role model, the father figure he never had, and he started spending most of his days and weekends at Peter's, learning all that he could about hunting. Peter wanted Randy to pick up where he left off, and when the young man turned sixteen, he was out on his first hunt. He was after a Wraithe who was responsible for the disappearances of many children at a small school outside of town.
Using the skills that Peter had taught him, Randy tracked it down and killed him, and it was then that he decided that that was what he wanted to do. He wanted to be a hunter, and he wanted to keep people safe. When he went home that night, he caught his mother in a fight with her current boyfriend, who was beating her half-to-death in front of Sarah. Randy went into a rage, and hit the guy so hard he went down and never got back up. For the first time, his mother backed him up, telling him to run and that she would make a cover story. Randy went on the run, telling Peter what had happened. Peter helped him get his things together, hiding him as the authorities searched for him. He gave Randy some money and drove him to the bus station to start a new life. Randy bought himself a car, and has been traveling ever since, hunting and trying to forget.

Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Bloody Mary
I never meant to be so bad to you, one thing I said that I would never do.
As he wound his way through the streets of New York, Randy found himself still keeping to the shadows out of habit, even though he had no reason to anymore. Running his hands through his hair, Randy tried to decide what to do with himself to keep him from having to go home. It didn’t take long to decide however, as he passed a coffee shop that looked like it was still open, so he changed courses and headed over, pushing open the door cautiously as he peaked inside. It was still fairly busy for it being late, so he felt like he could blend in unnoticed for the most part and he ventured all the way inside. It wasn’t the type of place he usually found himself, but he was too exhausted to care at that point.
Randy felt out of place as soon as he entered. He generally found himself frequenting alleys, and sewers, and old abandoned warehouses instead, searching them for signs of the supernatural. Trying not to look out of place, Randy slipped into a booth and scanned the menu, having forgotten exactly how many different kinds of coffee there were in the world. He ran his hand through his hair again, thinking back through the night’s events when the waitress came over to get his order. Randy had only spotted her approach from the corner of his eye, but when he turned and glanced up he was struck by the waitress' exotic beauty, a feeling that he hadn’t experienced in quite some time. It was strange honestly, and Randy regarded her with a strange mixture of wariness and curiosity.
