That makes it hard for him to let people too close to him, but he almost instantly feels the need to help people.
Aric grew up playing football during school. He constantly worked out, and that helped him get the body he has today. During the military, Aric kept short hair and a clean shaven face, which is how he prefers looking now. Overall History: Aric was born on April 22nd to a Roy and Dawn Summers. During his first few years of life, Aric hardly saw his father, because Roy was fighting in the war. During his elementary school years, Aric didn't do well in his classes. He was the kid that always continued talking, after the teacher asked him to stop. He was always in the principal's office, getting in trouble for fighting, so his mother put him in football. Almost immediately, Aric's grade rose and his attitude changed positively.
In his eighth grade year, Aric was told that he was going to be a brother. He couldn't have been more happy and excited. When Camryn was born, Aric tended to his sister and parents whenever they needed. He would hurry home from practice just to help at home. In his ninth grade year of school, Aric's father went back off to war... He didn't know that would be the last time he ever saw his father.
A few years passed and Aric stopped blaming everyone for his fathers death and before he knew it, He was in his Junior year of high school. One evening, Aric came home to a dark house. Earlier that morning, Camryn was asking their mother if she could stay at a friend's house... That's probably where she was. He went through the house, trying to flip switches, but nothing was working. He finally reached a drawer with a flashlight and searched the house. Nothing was wrong, up until he went to flip the circuit breaker in the garage. He walked in and hear almost a slimy sliding sound. When he shined his flashlight toward the sound, he saw a man standing over his mother's body. He had black eyes and gave a devious smile before he threw Aric into the wall and disappeared.
Senior year was a rough one for Aric. He was taking care of Camryn and trying to keep his schooling in check, along with football. He decided to join the Marines right out of high school, having Camryn stay with his aunt and uncle. Aric served in the war, receiving a few medals and merits for his bravery and honor while serving. Now, at the age of twenty two, Aric has decided not to reenlist in the Marine Corps, and wants to pursue the demon that killed his mother. Since the incident, Aric has learned about demons and the large, frightening world of the supernatural. He plans to find the demon and make it impossible for it to leave Hell...
When Aric had met Sammi, he fell head over heels in love with her. He couldn't be happier, until she started acting odd. After many attempts to 'bring her back', he decided that she was too far gone to get the Sammi he loved back. When he figured this, he figured that it may be better if he left town for a while. When he was gone, he worked on finding the demon that killed his mother, but had no luck in the execution of the plan. Now, he is back and hoping to start semi-fresh in his old home.

Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Bloody Mary
I never meant to be so bad to you, one thing I said that I would never do.
As the Pave Hawk's blades cut through the air with a fluttering sound, Aric was looking down at the ground to watch for hostile forces. Being the Medical Sergeant of the squad, he and the Corps Man of the Marine squad would be assisting the wounded men while the others had their cover. As they neared the approximate location of the crash site, Captain Johnsen informed the RAVENs that they were close. The sound of rounds entering the chambers of rifles filled the copper and everyone looked at one another and gave a nod. Each of them had done this before, it was nothing new, but they new that this job was extremely dangerous, and it was very possible that they would come back with one more injured or dead.
The mission was said to be a low danger mission, but when they arrived and landed about thirty yeards from the crash site, they were surprised to find that they were not alone. Summers was the third man out of his chopper and only ten feet from the downed Black Hawk when he heard the first gun shot. He instantly dropped to his knee and looked around, watching for a muzzle flash, but saw nothing. His nigh vision picked up the trackers that were flashing a bright light on the Ranger and two pilots and he moved quickly to them. The Ranger was trying to fix himself up against the smouldering helicopter and provide cover fire. One of the pilots was laying on the ground, but it was hard to see if he was alive or dead without checking his vitals, and the other pilot was attempting to fend off the attackers with his MP-5. Aric first ran over to the pilot that was down in the dirt "Keep up the fire! You'll be on the chopper as soon as we get thes guys loaded up." He yelled to the defending pilot. He knelt down, hearing gun fire and bullets hitting the chopper near him.
Summers put his fingers on the jugular of the pilot's neck and called out "He's alive! We need a stretcher! Two Marines stopped firing and ran over toward Summers to pick up to pilot. They loaded him onto the stretcher and carried him to the HH-60, then returning to the Ranger and helping him back to the Marine chopper. The whole ordeal had lasted about ten minutes at this point and Summers was given the command to head back toward the Pave Hawk. As the Marines were loading up the Ranger, a long smokey line from an RPG trailed to the chopper before a massive explosion was seen. The Marines helicopter had been hit and the two pilots, the Ranger, and the two Marines were caught in the blast. Aric ran over to check the men, but found that they were all KIA. They had to get out quick. Soon enough, another RPG would be flying through the air.
Johnsen yelled for all of the men to load up, but continue firing at the enemy. There were at least fifteen attackers from the start, now there were only seven. "We can't stay here! We have to go! Johnsen yelled to the squads. Aric looked back and ran over to one of the casualties and began dragging him toward the chopper, pistol drawn and firing at the muzzle flashes. Suddenly, there were men running out and grabbing the other casualties and taking them to the Pave Hawk. Once loaded up, the chopper lifted into the air. Small arms fire continued to hit the sides of the chopper as it lifted into the sky. Five dead men were laying on the floor of the helicopter, and the injured pilot was laying across a few of the RAVENs that were able to sit. Aric knelt down next to the dead and scanned over them to make sure there was no movement. Nothing.
The Corps Man was tending to the pilot when an RPG wizzed past the tail of the chopper, and without warning, the chopper tilted to one side. the dead bodies started sliding toward the side that was dipped and Aric fell on top of them after losing his balance. He propped himself back up and looked around after the chopper had regained stability. All of the men were okay, from what he could see, and no one was missing. The flight back was about fourty five minutes and there was a lot of radio chatter in their headsets. They started with two wounded, and ended the mission with five KIA... They did everything they were supposed to, why didn't they all survive? Aric still concerns himself with this question to this day.
He laid on his bed, thinking to himself about the mission that had gone wrong. Was someone actually watching over him? Did he really have a purpose in this world? He sat up and took a deep breath and looked around. He would find the demon that killed his mother and make sure it never had the privilege to come back to the surface of Earth. He would have his mother's revenge... Not only for him, but for his sister as well. He picked up his Colt .45 and holstered it near his ribs and made his way from the hotel room. The warm sun beat on his face and the fresh air filled his body. The hunt was about to begin...
