Overall Personality/Appearance: Overall, Cassandra tends to be a very nervous person. She’s over looking over her shoulder whenever she is walking through crowded areas or sitting down when eating. She’s always on edge, and jumps at loud sounds, and tends to keep to herself unless there is somebody that she wants to talk to. Even then though, it’s down to business and that is it. Often, she tries to strip herself of her emotions, believing that they might lead her astray or down a path that is not intended for her. Considering how many times she’s wound up in the psychiatric ward, Cassandras trust runs very thin, only putting her trust in her faith and her dog, and those that the ‘voices’ point out to her, but even then, she is hesitant. She is not very good with conversations, and tends to end them quickly, hoping to move away socializing in case there is lurking danger.
She relies very heavily on her dog, Job, to be her protector because of his canine senses to the supernatural, and she reacts to when he snarls or barks at other individuals. When this happens, her anxiety tends to sky rocket, and when she’s on huge adrenaline kicks, Cassandra finds it hard to concentrate and calm herself, even when the enemy cannot find her. There is not a lot that can calm her down when she’s in this state, and usually, she just sits there until it passes over when the danger is gone. Sometimes, she feels like there’s something missing from her life, she’s uncertain to what, but she does feel like she’s different somehow from other people, and it’s not just because of the voices.

Overall History: Cassandra was not always human, she was once one of God’s very own heavenly creations: an Angel by the name of Taharial. She swore her obedience to God without any question, even though she never saw him with her own eyes, she had faith within him. Heaven proved to be a safe place, looked after by those known as the Archangels who were rumored to be the only four to ever see him in person. Like many other angels, had trust within them to deal with the problems both in Heaven as well as on the mortal lands. Thousands of years later did Heaven start to form it’s rankings within its armies, Taharial chose to settle her alliance with Michael, deeming him the most noble of the four and slowly became council to him on small occasions, gradually rising her rank.
Gabriel’s leaving took her by surprise, but she heard rumors floating about that it was due to Michael and Lucifer’s constant fighting. Even with their brother’s leave, the fighting did not cease until God took matters into his own hand. The fall of Lucifer did not surprise her at all. She saw him as power hungry and felt as if he had been up to something, especially with his ranks ever growing and his selection of angels being ones that had no foreseeable future. While she had never voiced her opinions of Lucifer, due to his status an archangel as well as his huge following, Taharial felt suspicious of his actions that he had been up to something, especially with his constant clashes with Michael who she viewed as far superior to the fallen angel. With Lucifer gone, everything appeared to be in peace until the saga of the Winchester brothers began to catch the angels by surprise, both out of curiosity as well as by the attention that they were receiving from the two Archangels, whispers stating that the two brothers were vessels for both Lucifer and Michael.
While many of the angels started to show interest, Taharial remained silent and against her better judgment, wished to stay out of the whole conflict despite heaven’s growing interest in the boys, especially when Castiel pulled Dean Winchester out of Hell, and then the rise of Lucifer himself once again on earth. With God’s disappearance, it was Michael who took sole charge of heaven now, casting aside Raphael for the moment. Tensions began to rise against the archangels amongst the lower angels, for those to stand opposed to Michael, and others soon began to question God himself and why he had abandoned them. Unlike many angels, Taharial did not question, she was obedient and understood her place as well as had faith in her superiors, even with the war looming over their heads. War never came, but chaos still ensued in Heaven and the shock held heavy in her mind of Michael’s fall.
There was only one Archangel left with both Lucifer and Michael stuck in the cage in Hell, and with Gabriel dead, Raphael took it his rise to power. But not everybody appeared, and Tahariel watched as heaven began to crumble between those opposing to Raphael’s beliefs and God himself, and his own followers. Many of Michael’s own followers began to turn to save their lives or be killed in the process. Tahariel was uncertain of what to think of the chaos, but she knew that she would rather fall then be swayed towards any side in the civil war with her true leaders (Michael and God) gone. Nonetheless, she delayed it as long as possible until many of Michael’s followers began to get slaughtered more, and more. So, she hid in the heavens, but sooner or later, Tahariel found herself cornered. Rather than embrace death though, she ripped her grace out with her own two hands, stating that she would find a way to free Michael and bring order back to Heaven.
It was April 16th, 2006 in White Horse, Canada, when a couple gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, their first child and only child. They saw her as a blessing from God due to their previous unsuccessful attempts to have children. Mary Catherine and Davis Luxe named their child Cassandra Eden Luxe. Their daughter grew into a loving, wonderful young girl who they could not be any happier with. They took her to church every Sunday followed by afternoon trail hikes. They were certain that nothing could go wrong in their life with her, that is, until she entered her first year of high school. Cassandra started hearing voices, and that is never a good sign, especially when they are telling her things. Her parents began to grow worried about her as she continued to talk, acting out in school in screaming pain because of the headaches that she gained from them as well as writing scriptures on the wall of their words as well as verses from the bible.
Both her parents and her high school tried to intervene, sending her to a guidance consoler at first, but when that ultimately failed; they saw no choice but to send her to a psychiatric ward. Cassandra was put on numerous medications and was often sedated during her stay to avoid outbursts. When she started to show improvement, the sedation doses were slowly put down, but she was always on medication. It took two years before they deemed her ready for the real world again with her parents because she could no longer hear ‘the voices’. Her parents welcomed her home with open arms. Cassandra was glad to be home, but she was hesitant about her medication. She felt as if they cut her off from the voices, which she soon realized was her guidance within the world as well as warnings. They had warned her prior to going into the ward that they were use medication, and they had been right. The voices had been right, and it did not take Cassandra long to cut herself off from the medication.
The voices soon started to come back, talking to her and telling her things, mainly of a demon by the name of Azazel is growing an army, and that she should beware demons in general. Cassandra decided to keep her messages to herself, writing down the things that they saw in countless diaries and scratching the scriptures into the wooden frame of her bed, underneath her mattress so that her parents could not see. The headaches were still bad, the pain unbearable a lot of the times but she just gritted and bare it. She kept this up for two years, noticing strange people following her from time to time, but Cassandra paid them no heed, even though the headaches grew and the voices warned her of them, nervous that if she would have a freak out then she would go back to the psychiatric ward where they might try and cut her off again. The last day of her senior year of high school, Cassandra had another episode.
Her teacher’s eyes flickered black for a split second. She was the only one who noticed and the voices came alive once again, the pain along with it in her head. A scream escaped her and she threw her books at her teacher, cowering in the corner now as the teacher, processed by a demon, called in the school security to escort her to the principle, who called her parents. Distraught, they thought there was no other way but to send her back to the psychiatric ward, all along Cassandra screaming at them that it’s what the demons want, and started going off yet again, kicking and screaming. Once again in the psychiatric ward, Cassandra found herself trapped once again, only this time, she acted out in violence, trying to keep all the workers away from her as much as possible and always faked taking her medication, although, she was no match for their sedation drugs and once again, Cassandra was useless to herself and she was kept on lockdown, with almost zero human contact at all.
Lockdown ended on her twenty first birthday, when they decided that it would be wise to move her to another facility to watch over her. When they loaded her into the van, Cassandra saw the driver and the others involved in her transfer contained black eyes, she tried to react but the drugs in her system from sedation were too powerful, and she found herself certain that she was going to her death. During the drive, they passed through the woods were a white blur came out of nowhere on the road, causing the van to crash. It was several minutes before Cassandra came to, and managed to get herself out of her bindings and out of the van, stumbling off into the woods. The white blur, turned out to be a young, six month old white german shepherd, which Cassandra took a liking too and decided to keep it with her, figuring that it could sense demons and other supernatural things, and gave it the name Job.
From then on, Cassandra fled to the United States from Canada, and took up her main residence in Brinnon, Washington, but continues to move around, searching and looking for people with answers about the demon that the voices talk about to her, as well as they tell her to warn people known as ‘hunters’ of what is to come. Cassandra has no remembrance of her life as Tahariel and her real mission of freeing Michael from the cage, nor does she understand why she hears the voices, but other than she is blessed. [/ul]
Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Bloody Mary
I never meant to be so bad to you, one thing I said that I would never do.
Perhaps this was a mistake, this wasn’t the right town that she should be in. Crystal eyes glanced around the area, the streets empty at the moment, everybody was inside watching a big high school football game. How eerie it was to be out on the streets alone, the lights flickering ever so slightly but not going out at all. Her eyes glanced down towards the white shadow that walked besides her. Job was calm and collected, and if he wasn’t on edge, then there was nothing to worry about with the lights. The town was old, and perhaps it was dying so there was no need to panic. Her hands were stuffed into her hoodie’s pockets as she and the white german shepherd continued to walk down the streets, pausing outside a bar and glancing in through the window.
Well, at least she seemed to know where everybody was at the moment. The place was packed, mostly younger people who were looking for dates, but there was an older crowd as well, their eyes all glued to the TV screen: the football game was on. The wind picked up a little more, tugging at her hair, and there was the creaking sound of a shutter slamming against a window. Glancing over her shoulder, the young woman glanced back towards the sound, her eyes lingering on the banging shutter before moving towards the empty street from once she came. Cassandra Luxe was always nervous, but in areas where she didn’t know that she was, she might as well be a bomb waiting to go off, ‘They’re here…’ Her eyes snapped back towards the window now before glancing down at Job once again, who was glancing up at her with amber eyes, “We should go in…”
The sweeping wag of a tail was enough of a sign for her to go on. After a moment, Cassandra pushed the door open and took a step inside. The place was loud, it was almost impossible to hear herself think straightly. Her eyes glanced around the area, it was truly packed with as many human bodies as it could very well contained. Slowly, she made her way through the crowd, her dog following closely at her feet, everybody too drunk to notice the animal at all. Taking a place in the corner of a room, Cassandra’s eyes glanced around now, studying everything that moved as Job laid underneath the table in the shadows, away from sight of the human eye, “Can I get you something?” came a voice, and she glanced up now at a waitress, staring at her, “Oh, um, water please.” The idea of ordering water in this place must be a very strange concept, because it earned Cassandra a look before she walked off.
