HUNTERS
There are usually three types of Demon Hunters; The ones who were born into the trade and trained for it from the moment they could handle a weapon; Those who experience a horrible supernatural related tragedy that forced them into the hunting world for vengence; or those who are just really into the whole idea and happen to stumble into hunting (SEE GHOSTFACERS)
HUMANS
CIVILIANS: Humans, plain and simple. Some have no connections to the supernatural world and others are forced into it, usually not by choice. Hunters and demons come across them all the time either to be saved or destroyed.
CRAZY: Occasionally a hunter will stumble across something they think is at the hand of the Supernatural that turns out to really be the work of psychotic humans! Sometimes you have no choice but to kill them.
GIFTED Humans and hunters alike that may possess a special type of power. Psychic abilities, or telekinesis. Something either inherited, or placed upon them by the act of a demon or Angel. Some have always been aware of it others are only just discovering.
Those 16 and under who have not inherited their power from a family member are more than likely a product of Azazel, or the yellow eyes demon. He has been going around making deals and feeding children his blood infecting them with psychic powers. He has a nasty habit of killing those who get in his way to claiming the child.
DEMONS
CROSSROADS: A Crossroads Demon makes bargains with people, granting a wish in exchange for claiming their life and soul at a later date. Deals are sealed with a kiss. They have red eyes (all except for a black pupil).
BLACK EYED DEMON: Theses demons are the most common type of demons, but they are not a homogeneous group. They occupy positions on Earth and in Hell and are constantly created. There are different hierarchies and some are stronger than others.
WHITE EYED DEMON: A very powerful rare type of demon. Known white-eyed demons include Lilith, Alastair and possibly Samhain. They are unaffected by salt and holy water. They are very powerful.
YELLOW EYED DEMON: Very Rare demon. The only one known is Azazel. Making deals for the ability to feed his demon blood to new born children, enhancing them with psychic abilities. Impervious to Salt, Iron, Holy water, and can possess other demons as well as humans.
ANGELS
ANGELS: Angels are extremely powerful beings with a wide range of abilities. Abilities vary with the class of the angel. For example, archangels have all the abilities of a normal angel, but they are enhanced, and they seem to have abilities that average angels do not possess. Angel's like Demons can take on a human form, but must have permission from the human to do so. The human was verbally speak 'YES' to the request. Angels became active on Earth to stop the breaking of The Seals, but failed which brought about the apocalypse.
ARCHANGELS: There were 4; Raphael, Michael, Gabriel & Lucifer. Michael & Lucifer remain trapped in Lucifer's cage beneath the earth's crust where Sam and Adam physically trapped them.
SHIFTERS
SHAPESHIFTER: Can physically take the appearance of another person, as well as access the thoughts of the person they are mimicking. To take on the shape of another they must acquire something belong to that person. When shfting, the creature has to shed their skin to change forms. They can be killed by silver but are tough to distinguish considering they have not only the appearance but the memories of the person they are copying. Their difference is often caught on video when their eyes appear to glow.
WEREWOLVES: Werewolves change unwillingly during the full moon cycle ( the day of and generally few days leading up to). To become a werewolf, the person as been bitten by another werewolf on a full moon. Most wolves do not remember their transformation or what they did while they were transformed.Other than the one night a month they appear perfectly human and many lead normal human lives. There is no known cure, and most have to be killed to protect innocents.
VAMPIRES
VAMPIRES: Most hunters do not believe that Vampires exist, and with good reason. Vampires are nearly extinct, only a few packs remain and they general stick close together. Unlike most tales of vampires, these have not just two, but a full set of fangs that are retractable into their gums. Weaknesses include dead man's blood, but the only way to kill a Vampire is to behead them. They are sensitive to sunlight, but it does not destroy them, merely it weakens them and feels like a bad sunburn. Vampires mate for life, and will seek vengeance if their mate is killed. To be turned into a vampire one must drink a vampire's blood. Some Vampires, are good and refrain from feeding on humans, they instead choose to feed on cattle blood.
SPIRITS
SPIRITS: Like Humans, there are good and bad spirits. Angry spirits are often born of violent deaths; murder and/or suicide. Iron will vanish them temporarily. Spirits can be killed by salting and burning their bones, if they have no bones? Then you'll have to get creative and find something with their DNA (old hair, skin, sweat). Some can be destroyed by being forced to relive a memory, or realise their death. Spirits can attach themselves to anything, a person, a place, or even an object. Generally they are often telekinetic and have control over things around them. Good spirits often stay behind to protect someone or something from evil. Mislead spirits are holding onto a need for revenge. Evil spirits generally have unfinished business needing to finish what they started.
WITCHES
Witches: Both good and bad. Male and Female. Some are part of a coven, while others choose to work alone. Witches use hex bags and jinxes to gain power and force evil will onto others. These witches doing evil, generally align themselves to a demon or several, to become more powerful.
GODS
Yes the pagan Gods do still exist. God & the Angel cast them out years ago simply because they could. They however did not go away. Want to be a pagan God and rain your wrath onto others. Feel free. Each God is a representation of something (for example Veritas was the Goddess of truth and made it so people could only tell you what they really thought. No Lies.)
