It had been a long night with AJ but he had finally settled down once she'd brought him to bed with her. Keeping her eyes open was proving more difficult by the minute but though he was now quiet his baby blue eyes were wide awake and staring at her as she listened to the baby blabbering.
As her own blue eyes focused on him a laugh escaped. She had to smile slightly because it sounded like he was really trying to have a conversation with her just wasn't really managing out any words but she tried to be interested instead of tired.
"your sister did what?" she joked as though he were tattling on his twin who for once wasn't being the noisy one and was fast asleep in their room. He didn't stop and she sat up slightly wrapping him snuggly in his blanket lifting him back up into her arms. "Sssh now kiddo you have to sleep" she begged holding him against her tightly as her eyes scanned around for his toy.
It was dark, the only light in the room was the dim street light filtering through the curtains of her bedroom window, it was enough light to see her son, but finding his toy was going to prove a little more difficult. Shifting onto her knees, still holding him she felt around with her free hand. "oh come on" she muttered as he started to whimper her attention shifted back to him quickly.
As she leaned back she stopped hearing a shift of movement behind her. "Eric?" she asked turning but she was met by the blow of something heavy to the corner of her temple, only the view of a shadow entering her mind before she fell back, her grip still holding AJ tightly as she slipped from consciousness.

Eric sat up quickly woken by a strange sense of worry that he hadn't felt in a long time. His breathing was labored but seemed to be the only sound he could hear through out the house. Sammi was surely fast asleep, and the guest room that he stayed in when he was home was on the other side of the house so the silence wasn't unusual. Somehow, tonight it didn't feel right. "the kids" he muttered rolling out of the bed pulling on shorts before he quickly made his way to the nursery. Opening the door all looked normal, stepping in he glanced into the first crib and smiled slightly at the sight of Charlotte, or Caitlin, sleeping soundly. A slight sense of relief came over him as he moved to check on AJ which was when his worry kicked back into high gear.
"AJ?" he didn't know why he was calling for him, the kid couldn't even crawl it wasn't like he'd gone anywhere on his own accord. "Sam" he said moving quickly then to check if she had him. On occassion she had a habit of letting them sleep in her bed if they were fussy, he only hoped that was the case, his instinct unfortunately was telling him something else all together. "Sam!?" He moved to her room knocking for a moment before he opened the door.
It was some what of a relief to see her laying on the bed until he got closer to see AJ wasn't there, and she was bleeding from a head wound. That sick feeling settled over him as he felt a sudden breeze and turned quickly to see the window was open. Moving quickly back to Sammi he checked for a pulse, finding a faint but still there pulse, she was alive, but AJ was definitely missing. He reached for the phone and stopped suddenly wondering if he should call 911 or not... in theory his son was missing and his wife had been attacked, the normal Young family should be calling the police, however...given his background and Sammi's he wasn't sure how helpful the police were going to be.
"Fuck" he muttered throwing the phone back down. He was going to have to call but he was going to need to do a little bit of cover up before anyone came to check, as long as Sammi was still breathing and her heart was still beating he had time. Moving back to the guest room he made the bed and moved any evidence to the living room and turned the TV on before moving back to the bedroom. He could say he'd fallen asleep on the couch this way if anyone asked, the last thing they needed was more suspicion on them.
Picking up the phone again he dialed 911. He gave the address where he was calling from first thing. "My son's missing, my wife's been attacked she needs paramedics quickly!" he said, the tone of command was, just natural given his job but he was also trying to keep calm. The truth was, if a human had taken AJ from their home, they'd be found quickly enough, what worried him was if it was someone, or something else had taken him. He answered the questions that were being asked of him regarding her state, the time frame anything he could and would answer.
What little comfort the situation seemed to offer was the fact that Sammi had been physically assault with what looked like a weapon of some sort, this was no spell, no animal, no creature that he could tell, but it begged the question how with both of them in this home why they had entered this way, why AJ when Charlotte had been fast asleep and unguarded. More importantly why. Leaving Sammi again he back tracked to the nursery again quickly scooping the baby up and holding her to ensure her own safety, he wasn't going to take that chance of her going missing too. "Just hurry up and get someone here now!" he said hanging up in frustration he went back to the bedroom. "Sam come on...wake up..." Shit, he had never thought what would happen if something happened to her. He'd thought about if something happened to him, but she would have been fine, savings, the house, army pension. Without her... with AJ missing, he'd be stuck with a baby he couldn't just leave behind, this was a game changer.

Miles away in a little hotel room sat a very unhappy individual. His upper body laid flopped on what the hotel room seemed to consider a desk. On the floor, there was an empty bottle of whisky. And then there was another fresh bottle on the desk with him, something that David Fox just couldn't stop staring at. Perhaps it was the pretty colors that came when the lamp just hit it at just the right angle, or maybe it was the fact that he seriously still felt like drowning out his sorrows. Heavens, he was Welsh, he probably shouldn't even be capable of doing it this, "I can't believe that bastard took her away." He muttered to himself, burying his face into his arms now, still thinking. Usually by now, people recovered from a girl leaving, but it seemed that David was unable of doing so, even after bitching out a certain girl on her birthday a while ago about the whole ordeal.
By all means, he probably shouldn't even still be here still. In Colorado. There was nothing left that he needed to stay there for. Some times, he just happened to wonder by the hotel room, the other hotel room, even though he knew she wasn't there any more. Girls should be like, held reliable for the pain that they could cause a man. David still found himself annoyed at the very thought that Josh had been picked over him. By all means, he couldn't protect her. Their first meeting had been a display of that. Not even shifting his head or looking in the direction, his hand slowly moved forward and grabbed his blackberry. He could call her, he should call her, but he knew what would happen. The little robotic voice would tell him that the person he was trying to call was not in a service area and then it would roll over into voice mail, and he wasn't about to be one of those guys. No, not even in his mildly drunken state, David still had some sort of dignity.
The TV suddenly turned out now, that familiar static-y sound before a voice came through it blarinignly clear, "David. I need you." A muffled groan escaped him, annoyed at the very timing by his angel at the moment as he shifted his head now, eyeing the TV like it was Lucifer himself, "Not now, can't you see I'm busy wallowing in my self pity?" Something told him though that it wouldn't get him very far, angels could be annoying persistent when they wanted to. In fact, it was probably the reason why everybody thought they were dicks in the first place. All of those Renascence artists had it wrong. Angels were not people with fluffy white wings, "I need you David. One of Sammi Winchester's babies is missing now. We need to get the bottom of this."
He loved how Sariel had used 'we' as if they had been some sort of team as if it were. Still, the news caught him a little by surprise and actually managed to make him lift his head up all the way now. The room spinned a little but it was nothing that he couldn't handle, "Doesn't she have a husband to take care of that?" Okay, no, not really. He didn't even know much about Eric Young since he had never met the guy, nor were they actually married, "This kidnapping doesn't make sense though...we got that last girl who was looking into them." Well, technically it did make sense. Who wouldn't want a bouncing baby of joy that probably had some sort of sinister power that could end them all. And, raising that child to be whatever you wanted it to be, now that was power.
A sigh escaped the TV, "David, we all have an interest in this situation currently. We do need to look into it need I remind you what's going on around us while you pine over a fallen angel." Somebody was getting sassy, and even though there wasn't an edge at all in his voice, David knew that Sariel was quickly loosing his patience with him, "Can't you get somebody-" but he didn't even get a chance to finish his question for he found himself quickly cut off, "You owe me David. I saved Taharial's dog for you. Something you would have not been able to do by yourself...and something that the Christ can easily do." Now that was a low blow. He glared at the TV, but it wasn't going to change anything. He and Sariel were assigned to each other, if that was even the proper terminology, "Fine. I give you permission."
And just like that, there was a blinding flash of light and no longer was David in control of his body, for he was inhabited by an angel of the lord. Sariel glanced around the hotel room for a moment before they vanished from it, and then appeared in the bedroom of a house. The Young's house. It suddenly made the angel remember why he didn't like rooms. While even invisible to the human eye, his wings were still there and they felt crunched up in such a space. His eyes fell on the man, a baby in his arms and then an unconscious girl with a head wound. After a moment, Sariel finally decided to speak, holding out his hand a little bit, "May I heal her Eric Young? Or do you wish to wait for the human assistance?"

The appearance of the man took him by surprise. He'd only seen it out of the corner of his eye so he'd sort of missed the whole popping into existence bit. Quickly he stood up. Wow, that had been a quick response but as he glanced he realised the guy wasn't a paramedic, a fire fighter he wasn't even in uniform, and he vaguely smelled of alcohol. Great, some drunk had wandered into the house. He moved forward to rudely tell him to get the hell out when he stopped at the man's words. Could he heal her? Who the hell did this guy think he was?
He hated to sound like a cliche or worse, act out that way but he was confused, a little shocked and curious. He was a hunter and his first instincts were to protect the baby that was still in the house, Sammi had sworn to him that she and the kids both were hidden from the sight of angels and demons, so what, and how had this...thing known. His suspicions rose as he wondered if this was a lesson, showing her what could happen when she tried to run, if he had orchastrated the entire thing and was here to help only to say I told you so.
There were so many questions racing one after another he tried to calm them down and focus on just one but the fear, the worry mixed with the adrenaline wasn't allowing that to happen. "No!" he couldn't heal her, he didn't know what that would mean, and besides he knew, vaguely the details of what had happened to her before. She had been supposed to die and somehow she hadn't. It was something that ate at her no matter how normal of a life she tried to have there. Even if she'd left 'Sammi Winchester' behind the memories and nightmares of that life, that person still plagued her daily.
As selfish and easy as it would have been for him to say sure go ahead, he knew she wouldn't want to have another magical saviour, be it dark magic or whatever this guy was offering. "She wouldn't want YOUR kind of help" he stated, not meaning to be offense but trying to be blatantly obvious. "Whatever it is that YOU are...whoever you are" He added again looking the man over. He seemed familiar the voice at least as though he'd heard it not that long ago but he was sure he'd never met the person before him.
"Besides... I just told 911 she had her head bashed it I'd rather not have to explain how she was magically fine one they got here... I have a military reputation to think about I can't be charged for bogus emergency calls" not to mention if they thought he was lying about that, they would probably not think anything serious of AJ's disappearance which was the major concern right now, at least for him. The kid was seriously the closest thing he had to a son and sure a couple months bond was nothing to most people, but he felt a duty, he'd agreed to protect them, to be like a Dad and he'd failed. No training supernatural or otherwise had been able to prevent this.
][david's sinister thinking about raising the kids is making me fear for their future safety from him now lol]]

Sariel could not help but to notice the look of surprise in the man's face when he glanced over. Honestly though, he didn't understand why it was so surprising. The angel felt fairly certain that the man had met his host before. 'Actually, he hasn't,' David chimed now and he could not help but to frown. Usually human hosts, David included, were quiet. They didn't have thoughts, they just sat around and enjoyed the ride for better or for worse. Sariel was tempted to say something, but that would force him to say so out loud and he didn't need to have this other human developing ideas before he could even get a chance in to speak. Although, that might not even be the case now with that rather loud and frantic sounding 'no'.
He could not help but to feel a little taken aback by this. Sariel huffed a little, feeling his wing's feathers get a little ruffled even in the tight fitting room. If only humans could see them, then he felt as if he would not be having this sort of trouble right now. Although, he supposed that having his help denied was not the end of the world, not at this very moment, "Are you...sure?" Sariel asked now, still feeling a little puzzled. He didn't even feel like he was staring at a human right now, more so some trapped little animal in a full on panic when it could see that the end was near. But it did not seem to stop there because it did not take long for Eric Young to go on a full fledged ramble.
Now it seemed rather insulting. There was such an emphasis, as if he were something like a demon or a witch. Sariel simply frowned, saying nothing for a moment as he let the momentary accusatory attack pass, "My name is Sariel and I'm an angel of the Lord. I apologize for the small of alcohol, my vessel was having a crisis when I picked him up." He was hoping for a little bit more of respect but that might be wasted on hunters now ever since the Winchesters. A lack of respect seemed to be developing ever since the end of the Apocalypse all of those years ago, a quarter of a century at least, "And Samantha Winchester knows my vessel. I cannot see it being that big of an ordeal for her." This Eric Young was simply making everything rather trivial now, and this wasn't even the reason why he is truly here.
"Human technology takes longer than Enochian magic," Sariel commented now, his eyes taking to the room for a moment. But they could sit around here all day and that was not the problem that he had to deal with at the very moment, "Surely you're not going to rely on humans to find her son though, are you? Because I can assure that's not going to happen." Perhaps that came out wrong and he didn't need any more character accusing accusations coming from this man. There was no doubt in his mind that whoever took the baby though just appeared and disappeared which made Sariel dread that another Regan had come. Glancing back over towards him though, he spoke again, "Tell me Eric Young. Has anybody been following Samantha Winchester? Anything that she would have brought up with you?"
((David would never do such a thing! He's just pointing out what others might do! No fearing from him at all.))

"Yes it takes longer but it also draws a lot less attention!" he pointed out. If the cops showed up to a head trauma report to find her perfectly fine they were going to waste their energy on questioning them than searching for AJ.
"I wouldn't know..." he admitted. Sammi didn't tell him a lot since she always accused him of being overly paranoid with his military and hunting training taking first instinct. "If there was anyone she was concerned about I'm sure she would have brought it up but she didn't and I haven't noticed anything strange" He admitted. "She spends all her time at the gym" he said with a shrug. It was the truth, if she wasn't coaching she was home they were trying to not draw too much attention to themselves in town not wanting anyone to have reason to be suspicious of them. She took the kids to the daycare at the gym and she trained gymnasts all day before she came home, it wasn't an exciting life but it was a safe one, or at least it had been.
"Though I don't know any demons who use blunt force trauma to the head" he admitted his eyes settled on Sammi. She was breathing and she had a pulse so that was good it meant her brain was still getting oxygen. "If you want to heal her you can do it in the hospital once the injuries have been recorded on record because if someone did this they need to be able to find them and healing her with draw suspicion to us first.
As much as he hated to admit he wasn't sure this action was demon, or if it was demonic in nature they had hired a lackey to do their work for them, break in attack and kidnap so the police and others would be on the hunt for a human not for a demon. With a sigh he held the baby tighter to him in protection. If this was human she'd be safe, if it was demonic he knew it meant there was only a matter of time before they tried to come back for her too. "I'm sorry I can't give you that kind of permission...Sammi wants normal healing by Angels is not normal friend of hers or not" he added.
It sounded as if he were willing to let her die for normalcy sake, and he wondered how true that was. Would he let her die? If it came down to it he wasn't so sure. Maybe. If he thought that was truly what she wanted. "Why do you think you know who is behind this?" he asked
