Overall Personality/Appearance: Katie is the youngest of the whole Winchester clan, but it was not until recently did she discover this. Unlike her older brother, Katie is quite bubbly and loves meeting new people; she tends to not have much trouble at school making friends as she stands on neutral grounds. Refusing to get pulled into a clique, Katie would rather spend time with her two best friends being themselves and silly rather than try and be popular. At home, she likes to think herself dependable for anything that her parents might need, and is always curious about asking them about their days, and of course, poking some good humored fun at her brother as well. She keeps very well with busying herself, her favorite past times being riding horses as well as playing her guitar, making up silly little tunes as she goes along.
Being a thirteen year old, naturally, Katie is always curious and sometimes, it can get her into trouble a lot of the times. She gets her nose into places that they probably shouldn’t get into, such as with her father’s letters, but also as well with things going on in school as well. Because of this extreme curiosity, Katie is quite prone to leading investigations (and sees herself as the next Nancy Drew) and solving things with the help of her best friends, or even on her own when she think that she can get away without any trouble, although, sometimes that is not always the case due to her impatience, waiting around for something to happen is not her strongest point. Nonetheless though, Katie still has a good heart, despite her rambunctiousness.

Overall History: On March 25th, 2017, the Milligan family welcomed the newest member of their family: Katherine Bethany Milligan, otherwise known as Katie. She was named after Kate Milligan, her grandmother and her father's mother who she takes after a little bit. Even as a young child and a mere toddler, Katie always had a bubbly personality. Smiling was often her favorite past time as a young baby, even in the nights where she would scream and keep Adam and Helen awake. Always, she was curious and adventurous, and these traits continued to grow as she did as well, especially when she learned how to crawl and then walk, almost nothing could stop her from running around the house, other than a locked door of course or something that she could not reached, but even then, Katie would still always find a way to over come it.
On her first day of kindergarten, never once did she look back towards her parents as she got on the school bus, even as a young girl, she saw this as a new chapter in her life. Not once did Katie have problems at school, she excelled at everything that the teachers gave her, her only problem was having problems sitting still in her desk, but somehow, she managed to cope. While she did have friends throughout grade school, but her best friend was Molly, a girl who lived just down the street ironically enough. They did practically everything together and were impossible to separate. They were the best of friends all throughout grade school, and Katie was positive that it was never going to change, after all, they loved going on adventures, and riding horses together, so why would that change?
However, it did, upon entering middle school, Katie Milligan found herself discovering the cruel world of preteen girls. Molly started to hang out with other girls in her class, or more specifically, trying to get in with the popular crowd, which Katie didn't understand since they were mean. Slowly, they started to drift apart and that was when Katie took up the guitar to allow herself some escapism in the music room when she was stuck at school. Losing Molly was not the complete end of the world though, Katie still had friends, just not as people she had been as close to as Molly. While they still sat on the bus together and did some small chit chat, Katie knew that they were not best friends any more.
Over that first year of school though, Katie found herself growing close with another girl, Carlie, they rode at the same stables and shared some classes together, many of their interests being the same and Carlie and Katie soon became best friends. During seventh grade, one day they stumbled upon a girl getting made fun of by one of the popular girls. Infuriated, Katie decided to stand up for her, and confront the mean girl about it. While ridiculed by the girl and her friends, Katie never once did back down and because of this, they soon took their fun some where else. The new girl's name was Liz, and Katie and Carlie decided to take her under their wing, and soon, they formed their own small little group as Liz slowly started coming out of her shell around them, Katie often liked to think of themselves as the three musketeers, all for one and one for all. Till this day, all three of them remain best friends, til the end.
Considering how much Katie was always hanging out with her friends, she never thought much about how her father was always coming back late from work until eighth grade, when she felt like more and more, he was always gone. Katie was not the only one who picked up on this of course though, her older brother Kris did as well, and she was certain that he resented his father for it. Of course, Katie always told herself it was because he was a doctor, and they had very important jobs, such as saving peoples' lives and she was quite positive that he was one of the best in all of Windom. Yet, it always felt like he was hiding something, and of course, Katie could not help but to notice the curious time he spent up in the attic. One day, when she got home from school early, her dad was still at work, her mother out in the garden, and well, she wasn't quite certain where Kris was, but it didn't matter, Katie decided venture up into the attic.
With her trusty flashlight, she pulled down the stairs and crept up stairs to look around. After about ten minutes, she found a trunk which she had never seen before. Opening it up, inside she found massive amounts of letters all addressed to her father, the returning address a Sam Winchester from New York. Curious, she opened up some of the letters and soon figured out that not only did they have an Uncle on her father's side, but also cousins as well, and the thought of more extended family just excited her. Although, she still didn't understand why this would be kept a secret and went to tell Kris about it, who didn't believe her at first, but after loads of nagging, he finally gave in and did his own family research.
To this day, Katie has never questioned her father about his brother and why they couldn't see him, or why they write in secret. Instead, she just keeps on sneaking up to the attic every once and a while to read the letters that come in, she can't help her curiosity, and because of it, bought a train ticket. Katie doesn't know when she'll use it, she hasn't even told Kris about it, all what she knows is that one of these days, she going to solve the mysterious of her Uncle and cousins.

Dream A Little Dream Of Me, Bloody Mary
I never meant to be so bad to you, one thing I said that I would never do.
With that thought in mind, Katie quickly raced down the street now, going as fast as her scrawny legs could carry her. Outside, her mother was in the garden, and quite honestly, this day could not have gone any better, "Hi Mom, Bye Mom!" she called out cheerfully as she opened the door and rushed inside now, dropping her backpack at the bottom of the stairs before scurrying up them to her room. Flinging the door open, she glanced across her room for a moment, pale pink, green, and white was her decoration style, it reminded her of spring. It did not take long for her hazel eyes to catch sight of what she was looking for though, the flash light. Quickly, she grabbed it before heading out into the hallway now, pausing underneath the door to the attic, staring at the string that would drop the stairs.
The young girl took a deep breath, who knew what was up in the attic, she had not been there in forever, and some how, she almost found herself nervous of what she would find. But, that would not stop her, Katie was determine to find out what her father did up there. After a moment, she jumped and her fingers grasped hold of the wooden ball and pulled down, allowing the panel to slide and the retractable steps fall down now. Quickly, she backed up before the could hit her. Hazel eyes stared at the steps for a moment, glancing up towards the ceiling and then glanced towards the window to make sure that her mother was outside. After a moment, Katie quickly assented the stairs, making sure to be quiet and to not make a sound.
As her sneakers hit the floor of the attic, the boards creaked slightly. She didn't dare turn on the light, but with the dim light coming through the dusty window, and her flashlight, she was positive that she could make due. Hazel eyes scanned the area now for a moment, while a lot of things did look quite out of place: manikins, pictures, boxes labeled pictures, none of them looked like something that would cause her father to stay up here, well, that is until she spotted something in the corner. Her gaze fell on a large wooden drunk now, her father's initials carved into it. Well, if that wasn't a clue, she wasn't certain as to what would be. Creeping across the floor, the young girl pulled the trunk out a little before kneeling on the ground. Holding her breath in, she undid the latch, closed her eyes and opened the trunk.
She paused for a moment, opening her eyes up slowly before peering inside, seeing nothing but envelopes. At first, disappointment filled the young girl's emotions until she noticed something, the returning address was a Sam Winchester in New York, "Why hasn't Dad talked about you before?" she murmured to herself, grabbing a little and examining it closely before opening up the envelope carefully and reading it, each line making her eyes grow wider and at the end, she placed the letter back it's envelope and placed it neatly back into the trunk, sitting there and thinking about what she had just read, "So...I have cousins? And another Uncle?...but why didn't Dad say this," she thought out loud to herself, thinking.
"Katie! Come help me water the plants!" came her mother's voice, almost causing her to jump. Quickly, she shut the trunk and slid it back into it's corner before tip toeing across the attic floor, "Coming Mom!" she called as she descended the attic stairs into the hallway of her house.
